Stop The World

kassna:

Written for the Johnlock Challenges Valentines Gift Exchange. A story for notfittodig, the prompt was: ““The events of John’s “lost Wednesday” (as alluded to in TSoT), or more drunken fun.” It turned out to be a bit of a … free interpretation of the prompt, Sherlock took it and ran away with it. ;)

I hope you like it!

Words: 865
Summary: Emotions are a rollercoaster, alcohol is the engine and Sherlock just wants to get out.
Too bad they locked the cell.

Stop The World (on AO3)

Yeeeeeeee! I got a sweet fic! Thank you so much, you wrote a wonderful hidden moment from one of my favorite scenes! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :D

Zombielock for Garrulousgibberish

image

For garrulousgibberish, a very late -but no less heartfelt- johnlockchallenges valentine piece based on their prompt of “apocalyptic” as well as “angst, dark, AU, hurt/comfort, paranormal.”

I had grand ideas for this amazing prompt, though I wish I could have another go (or three) at it. If the subtext doesn’t convey, I intended for a sort of zombieLock in which Sherlock is turned not from a bite but from experimenting on other turned humans (hence the bandages covering his transforming hands). The angsty bit is hopefully clear; he’s quikly turning and so requires John’s help with, well… not becoming a zombie (and the method is tucked in John’s waistband). If the angstyness is too much to bear, perhaps we can imagine Sherlock turning but John finding a way to keep him safe a la Shaun of the Dead? :)

Many apologies for my slowness, and I do hope you enjoy your gift!

A few details…

(yes, that is a human hand in the fire. :B)
And someday I’ll learn how to post art on tumblr that doesn’t get all crappily compressed, someday…

SWEET JESUS

Or, how to ruin me in 2270 words…

A Great Light, by achycarnations. An apocalyptic Johnlock story you have to read to believe!

Merry Sherlock Season wishes, boig! I had fun scrolling through your blog and was really taken by the idea of fem Moriarty and Moran, so I tried my hand at them -definitely will have to do some more! I hope it brings you a bit of enjoyment and that you’re having a wonderful holiday! :)

And yes, that is a Westwood suit. I had to nerd a bit on fashion! Moran’s appearance came from fanon ideas and from the canon mention of tiger hunting (the back scars).

STOP TALKING ABOUT ME.

STOP TALKING ABOUT ME.

[UGH, fragmented pictures… how do they work… I’ll try to sort out a better resolution!]
First off, let’s pretend this is an alternate moment from Hounds, shall we? This is for rerumfragmenta, who has been patiently waiting for this johnlockchallenges prompt for a week now -my continued apologies!! Your prompts of “dawn, dew, chilly” were so inspiring, yet I couldn’t get my hands to work the way I really wanted to -or my brain to tell the story I was hoping for. Though I hope you will still get some enjoyment from it!

FYI, if you’ve never seen the Belt of Venus I recommend getting out into the country before dawn -it’s quite lovely!
